Omar Viglino was born in Turin in 1988.  In 2000 his family moved to Valsangone where Omar lived for the next 12 years.

During this time he developed a strong love for drawing and crafting and continued his artwork under the teaching of the painter Umberto Fracassi, a painter, goldsmith and a long-time family friend.

 

 

In 2006 he was mentored by the painter and sculptor Luigi Stoisa until 2009 when he developed his technique.

In 2012 he relocated to Sydney, Australia and continues to master his style.

 

 

In 2019 Omar organised and financed his first official solo exhibition, renting a private exhibition space in the Sydney CBD.
